StarCraft II patchas på releasedagen

Blizzard har nu i en intervju avslöjat att StarCraft II kommer att patchas på releasedagen. Främst är det funktioner för Battle Net som berörs, men även lite balansändringar kan komma att dyka upp. Detta berättade Dustin Bowder för spelsidan VG247 och här nedan får ni ett utdrag ur intervjun:

In terms of how the beta’s going, what sort of affect is it having on a projected release date for the game?
Dustin Browder: So far, the beta numbers we’ve been looking at have been very, very positive. We’re close to a 50 percent win ratio for almost every race. What we’re really doing right now is waiting to see, as the community learns more, to see if something changes in the meta-game that causes this not to be the case. And, of course, we’re still dealing with issues of unit diversity, particularly on the Zerg side. But so far, no real damage from the beta per se. Things seem to be going pretty well.

Fokus ligger såklart på betan och det är flera intressanta saker som gås igenom som t.ex. det nya laddersystemet, nya Battle Net och kommande balansändringar för raserna i spelet. Tyvärr ingen ny information om släppdatum, utan Blizzard hävdar fortfarande att spelet kommer när det är klart och det kan innebära i princip vad som helst.
